How to: remove and replace any emblem

First....you'll need a hair dryer, painters tape, alcohol and goo gone, flat blade screw driver.

Next...tape of around emblem...close as you can get to exact location with painters tape.

Heat up emblem with hair dryer....insert flat blade screw driver between the tape layers and emblem so not to scratch paint and pop the letters/emblem off. Clean up residue if any by rolling the tape off and then cleaning with goo gone and alcohol. Clean VERY well with alcohol if u use goo gone.

Replace emblem

Speaking of morons... pressure washer works with too fine a nozzle. [sigh]
Finding the emblem afterwards is an exercise for the student.

Re: How to: remove and replace any emblem

I completely removed all my badges with some fishing line. Then rubbed the sticky residue off with a clean cloth. Then finished it off with goo gone and it looks like it was never there.
Funny how some of us like no badges, while others add them.

Re: How to: remove and replace any emblem

Did mine with a credit card and blow dryer to remove dealer logo. Didn't take that long, and a bit of rubbing with a cloth and Goo-Gone and that was that . May have gotten lucky because dealer didn't have my 2010 Grand Cherokee Limited but about 2 months!!! (2010 Grand Cherokee Limited 5.7 Hemi - 50,000 miles - purchased 3-2-14 )
