A few pics of the new bulb compared to the stockers. I'll grab some pics later when it gets dark.

my 6000k are slightly blue....

I had some XenonDepot Xtreme bulbs in 8000K years ago and they were very blue.

The 6k d1s I put in look like the 8k I would use in a reflector housing. Seems the projector lens may change the color of the bulb some?

Re: HOW TO: Remove and replace your D1S headlight bulbs

Just some quick iPhone pics of the lights. I'll have to get the SLR out and try to get better pics showing the color of the light better. Everything is 6k except the OEM LED strips. 6k LED "DRL" bulbs, 6k Bi-Xenon bulbs, and 6k HID fogs.

It looks from the pics that the traditional DRL's are throwing a low beam pattern, correct? Any issues with oncoming traffic flashing you thinking you have your highs on?

The "DRLs" don't really throw any light into the road. No one has flashed yet. It all still operates like factory, just different bulb colors. Here are some older pics that show the "DRLs" better. They also have a shield in front of the bulb, so it's only the reflected light.

yeah...the DRL's look too bright to me. I want to tone mine down and lose the yellow color.

That's what I mean, the inner lamps on the main cluster, the ones inside the HID projectors are DRL's on the normal Jeeps but only come on when you turn on the headlights in the SRT due to the LED DRL's down below. They are not used as DRL's or high beams, when they come on they are very dim. They don't really perform any function on the SRT.

Did you do this conversion on the upper DRL's?: Headlamp Drl to LED

If not, what did you do to get what you have vs. what the rest of have (like Scott's here below)
