Remove Badges Using This Method

Has anyone tried this method ?? Im just curious because I really don't want the heatgun and fishing line I worried I will scratch the paint or burn the paint

You don't need a heat gun. Just park it in the sun for an hour and your good to go. Fishing line wont scratch the paint.

put a layered/thick coating of wax and let it harden around your work area. That will protect the rest of the paint to prevent an accidental scratch.

cable lacing twine is a bit softer than fishing line, and much stronger.
Still suggest using heavy wax or blue masking tape around the work area.

I removed all my badges with fishing line and a clean cloth.
Not a visible mark to be seen. Took all of 5 mins to remove the rear SRT and the 6.4 Hemi badges form the guards (fenders). After I removed the badges with the line, I used the clean cloth to rub off the sticky backing from the paint.
