12 Pin plug to make OEM bi Xenon Retrofit more PLUG & Play

Laredo, Altitude, Trailhawk and Durango owners who want to add OEM bi-xenon headlights only to find that there is not a factory connector for the passenger side headlight we can now power both headlights with the factory ballasts.

The benefits of this is that you don't have to modify the headlights in any way so if you have a lease and you have to turn it back in you can sell of the OEM untouched headlight.

Molex Actually makes an Automotive grade 12 position female connector that properly seats onto the OEM housing male connection.

Here is the link to the part where I found it: 33472-1206 Molex | Mouser

Here is th link to the several different pin size option: 33012 | Mouser Electronics, Inc.

Here is the expoded view of the part. http://www.molex.com/pdm_docs/sd/334721206_sd.pdf

Compatible with :

WK2
WD
LX
Possibly other MOPAR cars that use the same connector.

Note :The connector is sold without the female pins

The Pins are sold separatley and you can choose what gauge of wire that suits your project. I bought the 14/16 AWG sized pins for my project.

Here are some actual close up pictures of the actual part.

Here are two places online that you can get these connectors. I have a few on hand and you can PM me if you want me to assemble one for you if you want to one stop shop.

Re: 12 Pin plug to make OEM bi Xenon Retrofit more PLUG & Play

I could not find an equivalent connector to the OEM on the driverside so I had to order the Mopar wiring repair kit which to me is overpriced but is your best bet when doing the swap.

Scott can you make this a sticky

on the passenger side, you recommend using the 12 pin plug, do you still have to use the canbus fix or just replace current plug with this one

Re: 12 Pin plug to make OEM bi Xenon Retrofit more PLUG & Play

My Wk2 Silver Trailhawk is around the corner at a hotel because the shipping co forgot the keys (my luck). Anyhow, I already purchased/received my OEM projector lights and am ready to do this conversion from the crappy urine colored headlights to headlights that cars in 2014 should all have.

Jeep_Addicted...I may be interested in purchasing a harness depending on the price and the arrival time. Could you PM me (it won't let me PM you yet) with the pricing? Thanks...this is good stuff.
