Not looking to change headlights are these close in color? I saw the pictures but hard to tell with pictures sometime.
No that's a great question and here is what I can say about that. I decided to go with the 5000k because I wanted a color that was between the stock 4300k HID lights, and the LED DRL's. So I achieved exactly that. They aren't as bluish/white as the stock LED DRL's, but they aren't as yellowish as the stock HID's.
I am very happy with the 5000k.
If you want a fog light that matches the LED DRL's exactly, then you will have to go with the 6000k's. However, like you said this will make the HID's look more yellow when you have those on.
I will try and get some nighttime pictures using my DSLR camera, but even with that it's hard to gauge night time lighting with that. Like I said, they have enough output to drive at 40mph in the dead of night on a country road with the headlights off!

I like VLED products and their LED H11 is cheaper than XenonDepot's H11 LED bulb.

On my wish list when my current bulbs burn out!

'14 WK2 with VLED VX3 fog light bulbs

I installed these on my Overland and they would not light up, only flickered on once or twice. Called VLED and they said someone else with a GC just called with the same issue. Any idea why they won't work and is there any difference in electrical with the original poster's Summit?

Humm interesting. Wish I could help, but they work correctly each and every time for me. I have also tried them as headlights in my wife's new Odyssey since that uses H11 low beams and same in there worked every time. Keep us updated if you figure anything out.
Shouldn't be any differences in wiring it's just a simple 12v on/off. Put one of the original bulbs back in so that one side is LED and the other stock halogen and see if it still happens and if so to both bulbs or only the LED.

Its been about two weeks since your first post, can we get an update on how the bulbs are working (if they still are) and has anyone flashed their brights at you to turn them off?

They are 100% perfect and work as they should. Absolutely no oncoming driver has flashed me and that's not surprising considering the perfect cutoff that's retained with these bulbs. As seen in my pictures the cutoff line remains extremely sharp with no light bleeding above that line to blind oncoming drivers. So no, no one will flash you with these bulbs and in happy with them. They are more or less just like stock but whiter color and maybe a tad brighter. I recommend them and am happy with them.

Re: '14 WK2 with VLED VX3 fog light bulbs

I called VLED to ask about the issue with other users Overlands not accepting the bulb or not working properly. Not sure why a Summit would have no issue with a bulb but the overland would. This is the response I received.

"Hi Chad,

Unfortunately we don't have firsthand experience converting your year make model vehicle.
We do know that the fog lights work on the 2014 Jeeps; however yesterday we had a customer with a 2015 Jeep and the fog lights did not work on his vehicle.
The issue is in the way that the Fiat computer Canbus system operates.
The only way to make them work is to isolate the LED bulbs from the circuit.
Most likely we can do that with a relay harness and a pair of resistors.

Assuming your vehicles fog lights are an H11 part number:
Parts required (In addition to the H11 VX3 kit):

One each H11 relay harness: Search results for: 'H11_HARNESS'

Two each H11 resistor adapters: Search results for: 'H11_RES_ADAPT'

Two each (1 pair) for 3 Ohm load resistors: 3 OHM RESISTOR

Note that if you decide to order this kit: Please notify us right away after you place your order so that we can make sure we have all the correct components in the kit for you.
Also just an FYI that we have not actually tested this kit on your vehicle as of yet, so this may or may not work.

If you have any more questions please feel free to contact us and have a wonderful day.

Thank you,
