18" imposter wheel skins

I bought some chrome imposter wheel skins for my Laredo X.
They look really good, well built and at first I was pleased. But after installing the first one I could see there was a problem with the fit. They snapped on as they are supposed to but just the slightest wiggling to see if theybwerebtight and it was very loose on 2 or 3 of the spokes. A little more gentle wigglingbandvitpopped off. Damn! They looked great when on but there was no way I would drive with them, they would have vibrated off for sure.

Anyone have any experience with these on a 2012 with the 18" painted rims.
If I return them I would be out 100$ in shipping (bs) anywaybinwouldlike to use them until I buy some new rims, any tips or mods that will keep them on would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hot glue or liquid nails, either will hold the covers on unless you really yank on them.

Well I contacted the website from where I got them and after a few weeks of waiting they just refunded my account and didn't even ask for them back.

Re: 18" imposter wheel skins

I just "installed" a set on my 05 Laredo. It looks awesome and had a very deliberate snap as the claws grabbed the spokes. I drove on a bumpy road to see if there was an immediate flaw no issues. These might look good for a week or 2 years I have no idea. Looks like I could slip em off and run them in a dishwaher LOL. But seriously yours were likely inferior design I would not write off the mod. I would rate the fit and finish of my "skins" at a 92. So a solid A or A -. this is an immediate gratification type thing for the WK. Its kind of like breast implants look great until you get real close lke
