Re: 1st Mod : Nav - RA3 to RA4

I'm assuming it's gotta have something to do with a GPS antenna connection then but I haven't done this install yet so better wait for others to respond that have. I would try taking it out and making sure all the connections are seated properly in their correct ports to start though.

Re: 1st Mod : Nav - RA3 to RA4

It works for a few seconds and then suddenly goes to N and stays there..maybe I need to go to the dealer and get it flashed.

Re: 1st Mod : Nav - RA3 to RA4

Are there any key combinations for a direct reset instead of going to the engineering menu???

Nope...it works after a factory reset...but after a power cycle back to square 1!!! Guess I have to get it flashed by the dealer. Couldn't find time to go to the dealer as yet.

Re: 1st Mod : Nav - RA3 to RA4

Have you tried reaching out to customtronix? I think that's the company name, maybe you will need a European or import software conversion. I believe i saw they offer a service like that on their website. Check them out.

I checked with them and a conversion will for sure get me the Middle East maps. But I guess I should first drop in at my dealer. On another note I bought customtronix's jailbreak!!! It didn't solve my issues however it's got some pretty cool features that I am looking forward to...

I have not called unconnect to see if everything is working... going to do that on friday and give everyone an update.

so far so good with the unit...
Ebay seller's phone # is not taking calls and he doesn't have a single thing for sale. Any leads on getting the RA4 from anywhere else? I'd love to get my hands on one to replace my RA3
