I did indeed get the theme settings in the display menu. They are really not too exciting from what I can see. 7 different choices I think.

Well its good to know that 2014's can move up to the 2015 just incase they stop updating the unit at some point as well.

Has anyone purchased an RA4 recently? If so, please let me know who, as I need to purchase one tomorrow for my new GC Altitude.

I emailed the ebay seller daimlerfinancial that some of you guys have bought from, but he doesn't have any for sale on ebay at the moment.

Have you tried them? reach out to them and see if they have any 2015 RA4 units. They will take your original RA2/3 unit and credit you back some toward the RA4 as well.

Re: 1st Mod : Nav - RA3 to RA4

It's been a long time since anyone had anything to say in this thread but seeing as j just bought a new 2016 with an RA3, I figured I'd see if there was any life left in the thread.

Trying to do everything on a budget and based on the best deal, I bought my Jeep with an RA3. Obviously I would like the RA4 and j know I can buy one from either eBay or oemautoparts but I have some questions that hopefully some members are able to answer for me.

- the security code that the seller provides you to install the RA4, is that just the anti-theft code?
- is there anything else required when replacing a head unit? I ask because oemautoparts says that they do all the programming before they send it out. The dealer I talked to when buying my Jeep made it sound like the dealer needs to help the new unit talk to the Jeep to know everything is alright. Don't know whether to trust him or not.
- has anyone had success is selling their old RA3?
- how is the warranty affected by changing the head unit? Is the new one covered by your existing warranty? Based in reading it sounded like it could be done.

Thanks in advance guys!
