Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

They will bolt right in .

Depending on where you buy the they may offer the correct adapter for the harness

The listing that Todd3.6 posted states the fog lights are sold individually. Is that correct, did I read that wrong, $600 for a pair?!

Ouch! You are correct.
Headlight Revolution states sold single, whereas Quadratec states sold in pairs.
Headlight Revolution is smoking something if they think they can get that price.

I sent them a message asking for clarification.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

Headlight Revolution replied stating that 'official' pricing has not been released yet by JW Speaker, so at this point it could be $300 per light or per pair. HR has assured me that they will be competitive with Quadratec AND they offer the specific plug needed to fit the vehicle already on the lights (unlike Quadratec which will apparently only offer the male H10 harness).

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

subscribing to this thread to see where it leads. Currently have LED bulbs but they make the light output useless even though they do match the color of the HIDs near perfectly. This would be a great upgrade if the output is better.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

I also want to see where this goes, as the stock fog lights suck and would like to replace them. It'd be nice to see better during nasty Rocky Mountain storms.

That's what I'm counting on (and a decent price).

This video shows the difference between Truck-Lite and JW Speaker fog lights (skip to the 14 minute mark):

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

So I take it this would involve removing your front bumper? If so are there any how to's? I don't have the slightest clue on where I'd start.

Would these have to be aimed or are they already fine out of the box as is? If not how does one level these and to what? I mean I know it has that screw but I would I make sure it's shining out at the correct height?

Since these are LED's how would this compare to the OEM fogs since all I here is that LED's don't have the same light output.

Thanks!

Edit: The 2011+ Dodge Charger fogs aren't the same as those on the 2011-2013 JGC's are they? If they are these look like a neat alternative to. One of the modes is a steady on when you initially wire them.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

You should be able to remove the fog lights without taking the bumper down. see this pdf http://wk2jeeps.com/pdf/2012_WK_front_fog_removal.pdf now as far as aiming and leveling I don't know if that will be answered until someone gets the light to see first hand but i'm thinking with the placement of the screws to bolt the light to the frame all that will be required is a simple vertical adjustment with the set screw you noted in the pics. The video a couple post above gives you an idea of the JW light beam. I can tell you that with just LED replacements my beam pattern is not even as good as that trucklight they compared it to so this thing should be great for light output. The video has me very hopeful this will be the answer we are all waiting for.
