Ouch!
Is it just me or does the red and blue fonts screw with your eyes?

All pics were on 'auto'.
I can't remember for sure, but I think the first two pics (without the date stamp) were taken with an old Kodak and the second two were taken with a newer Olympus.

The PIAA lights are only slightly 'brighter' than the OEM candles, but the 'whiter' light made a big difference on the road. So the first two pics are fairly accurate if you wish to compare the OEM and PIAA 530 LED fogs.

The third pic is the convincing one...
You can't even see the PIAA fog light on the passenger side with the JW Speaker fog lit up on the driver's side.

Personally, I think the JW Speakers are worth the money. The Morimoto units would probably be a cheaper/nice alternative, but as someone pointed out it would be nice to see the light output side-by-side between the two.

EDIT:
Just watched the Morimoto/Toyota video.
I'm not impressed. At least not compared to my JW Speaker units.

I'm not pushing morimoto stuff, just defending that i've used them and they look good. I might not be a WK2 owner, but i am still part of the community. I am defending the projectors with hids being brighter then JW speakers. I will try to find someone local ( staten island) or nyc somewhere to do a comparison between the latest gen chrysler projectors with a hid retrofit vs jw speakers.

I am in no way criticizing the Jw speakers, i only suggested the morimotos Maybe a cheaper alternative. I love leds, they serve their purpose for many things. If you look at my posts, my first reply was about JW speakers stomping hids. and my 2nd post was merely suggesting morimotos as a possible alternative.

I am a lighting guy, i have quad- bixenon retrofit headlights with projector retrofitted fogs in 1 car.
Led light bar/ morimoto fogs in another car.
hid retrofit in my durango, and a pair of philips ultinon d3s bulbs i need to install.

I do apologize to all the folks on the thread if it appears that i am thrashing the JW Speakers, I can assure you that i am NOT, and if they ever came out with something that fits 2014 WK2s or WD's, i would snap up a set to try.

Phfffft!
No worries!
People need to chill in general.
Every has opinions and the best part of a forum is sharing them.

BTW...
I think the Morimoto lights would bolt right up to the 2011-13 GCs. I was actually looking at Subaru H11 halogen fog lights online before the JW Speaker lights came out and had a template ready to stop at my local Subbie dealership to see if they were the same. They look VERY similar.

Your picture is consistent with my experience. Fogs come on at around second 3, I have 5K HID headlights, wall is about 35-45ft away.
