Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

I don't have the tools to do it easily at home. I'd rather not...

Didn't do it this weekend. Our next door neighbour decided it would be much more fun to put up a fence. Man......

If I was taking off the tires I would much prefer air tools lol. Again, not a huge deal, just makes it a lot quicker and easier if I don't have to take the tires off.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

Finally installed today. Can't wait to go out tonight to see the full light at night.

How was the level when everyone installed them? Need much adjustment?

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

Go to Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply

There is a how to procedure for aiming lights there I always use it when I install my lights.

It may seem a little overly complex at first but it is fairly easy.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

My god they are bright. I feel like they are brighter than myou HIDs. I think mine should come up a little but really, they are there to full the gap under the HIDs and they are doing that well.

LOL, brighter than the OEM fogs. No doubt.

As for brighter than headlights... Not really.
You are just noticing the immediate light spread in front of the vehicle as you should with fog lights.

Low beams are to light up down the road so you don't notice as much light coverage right in front of the vehicle.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

Aimed them a little higher and it's much better.

Could my stock HID bulbs be going? I still think they are brighter than my HIDs. I and clearly see the light from the fogs going into the light from the headlights. It's not a crazy difference but I can see it.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

One more question. How hard/involved would it be to make these the day running lights? I hate the yellow day running lights on the first gen WK2
