Funny you should ask.
The one I put in the driver's side was spot on, I didn't even touch the adjuster. The one I put in the passenger side was way too low.

First pic is wide view of the entire front end, sun is almost directly overhead (and you can see the slope of my driveway to the left). The second is close up (with me in the reflection taking the pic). I like the black with my black surrounds and grey paint.

Todd,
How would you say the color temperature is compared to the HID?

I have a Laredo X, so I have halogen headlights.
If I remember colors correctly, halogen is around 2700Kelvin.
OEM HIDs are usually around 4300Kelvin.
These LED fogs appear to be between 4300-5000Kelvin.
The garage door is white and the driveway is a light grey cement, so the color rendering in the photo is pretty accurate.

My next goal is to get a pic of them shining down the road. Not sure how soon I will be able to do that though. Right now I'm in an immobilizer boot for a stress fracture and my wife is doing all the driving.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

Turn what thing 90 degrees? Also what about those rivets below that 10mm screw? Do you need a special tool to pull those out? I feel like I'm going to rip a nail off trying to get even one out. Even so if those have to come our should I get any spare from the dealer as replacements? I've never had much luck preserving those plastic rivets in the past. Always breaking.

If you don't want to remove the entire bumper cover, you don't have to. You can pull aside the lower fender liner by removing a 10mm screw and a turn button (turn 90 degrees and pull out). I used a bungee cord wrapped around the sway bar to hold the liner back out of my way.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

There is no way to save the nylon rivets.

I own a panel popper tool so that os what I use to to dislodge them.

I have been using some clip nuts (like what you get when you buy aftermarket speakers) for a while now and It makes it easier than dealing with those rivets.

My buddy at the autobody repair shop told me about them.... he said he had started to us them on them liberty jeeps and they worked great....

Aww, the heck with the doc.
Here's some more pics (they were larger, the upload shrunk them...)
The first pic is looking up under the front of the jeep with my head right in front-of/next-to the tire (driver's side). You can see the 'chin spoiler' to the left of the pic.

There is one 90degree twist fastener ('above' the bolt in the picture) and one 10mm bolt that attach the lower lip of the fender liner. That's all I took out and then pulled the lower fender liner back towards the sway bar (and held it back with a bungee cord, but string/twine would work too).

The second pic is looking up into the gap towards the fog light (on the driver's side). That's my 'old' PIAA fog light you see in the second pic, not an OEM fog light.

Hope these help!
I worked laying on my back on the cement (no ramps or jacks) and then reached up into the gap created by pulling back the lower section of the fender liner. Hit my head on the tire a couple times. Including setting up the laser level and tape lines on the garage door and then cleanup, I spend about 90 minutes.

Re: 2011-2013 Foglight upgrade Option

^I believe elsewhere in this thread you guys reference polarity needs, but is there any reason not to just hardwire these fogs by dropping the extra harness and cutting out the connector on the auto side? Sorry if this was covered, or if there is a ballast function otherwise.
