J.W. Speaker LED foglight 6145 For the JK can be retrofit to the 2011-2013.

They are obscenely expensive but give you the option of a black or chrome reflector, they are practically plug and play once you add a male H16/5202 adapter to the wiring.

the headlights from JW Speaker for the JKU are world class by the way. They made a HUGE difference in nighttime driving for my wife.

Scott I will be waiting for your impression of the foglights.

Were you planning on posting a link of your review in this post?

+1 for xenondepot... Their LED fogs are awesome! Very happy with my purchase.

Nice!
Time to upgrade from my PIAA LED fog lights!
I thought they were spendy at $200, and they put out better light than OEM, but from what I've seen of JW Speaker lights in videos on YouTube, the $300 is well worth it.

Oh, and I found a couple sites selling them.
Headlight Revolution has them for $289 with the 2502 adapters already wired in:
JW Speaker 6145 Jeep LED Fog Light - Black Version

Anyone want to buy some PIAA 530 LED fog lights (already bolt in ready) for $150???

Yes you can check out the link Todd3.6 posted the site has the WK2 in the compatability listing

#13 ·
They will bolt right in .

Depending on where you buy the they may offer the correct adapter for the harness

I am hopingb is a typo because the quadratec listing I posted is for a pair

Headlight Revolution replied stating that 'official' pricing has not been released yet by JW Speaker, so at this point it could be $300 per light or per pair. HR has assured me that they will be competitive with Quadratec AND they offer the specific plug needed to fit the vehicle already on the lights (unlike Quadratec which will apparently only offer the male H10 harness).

subscribing to this thread to see where it leads. Currently have LED bulbs but they make the light output useless even though they do match the color of the HIDs near perfectly. This would be a great upgrade if the output is better.

I also want to see where this goes, as the stock fog lights suck and would like to replace them. It'd be nice to see better during nasty Rocky Mountain storms.

So I take it this would involve removing your front bumper? If so are there any how to's? I don't have the slightest clue on where I'd start.

Would these have to be aimed or are they already fine out of the box as is? If not how does one level these and to what? I mean I know it has that screw but I would I make sure it's shining out at the correct height?

Since these are LED's how would this compare to the OEM fogs since all I here is that LED's don't have the same light output.

Thanks!

Edit: The 2011+ Dodge Charger fogs aren't the same as those on the 2011-2013 JGC's are they? If they are these look like a neat alternative to. One of the modes is a steady on when you initially wire them.

No, you don't have to take your bumper off.

Slide underneath the front under one of the fog lights, there are a couple large plastic turn-buttons you rotate 90 degrees and they come out, then there is one bolt that has to come out (10 or 13mm, I can't remember which). Then you just pull the plastic panel away from the bumper (I used a bungee wrapped around the sway bar to hold it out of the way). Then you reach up and unbolt the old and bolt in the new.

You will have to aim these. Chances are, if you haven't checked, your factory fogs aren't aimed properly anyway. My driver side was low and the passenger side was high. There's a phillips set screw on the back side (as you can see in the initial pics).

The cheap LED 'bulbs' are no comparison. I currently have PIAA LED 530 fog lights and they are better than the OEM bulbs. The JW Speaker LED lights are beyond compare. They don't just make fog lights, they make LED headlights and a LOT of the Wrangler owners are switching over to them.

Oh, and yes, these are the same as the Charger fog lights (not sure which model years).

EDIT: I don't think those Whelen units would be very bright. I don't see a heat sink for the LEDs which means they are not high power like the JW Speaker units. The housing for the JW Speaker (and my PIAA) lights are a heat sink for the high power LEDs inside.

You should be able to remove the fog lights without taking the bumper down. see this pdf http://wk2jeeps.com/pdf/2012_WK_front_fog_removal.pdf now as far as aiming and leveling I don't know if that will be answered until someone gets the light to see first hand but i'm thinking with the placement of the screws to bolt the light to the frame all that will be required is a simple vertical adjustment with the set screw you noted in the pics. The video a couple post above gives you an idea of the JW light beam. I can tell you that with just LED replacements my beam pattern is not even as good as that trucklight they compared it to so this thing should be great for light output. The video has me very hopeful this will be the answer we are all waiting for.

Yeah it would be nice it they did have the adapter, but remember the span of years covered for the JK the bulb changes over that span.

I don't see it as a deal breaker.

If you really had to you could use butt connector to make the connection but it is always nicer when you don't have to modify the vehicle at all.

The most important part is that the bolt in and adjust just like the stock ones do.
