I don't know why they are advertising these as for the Jeep Compass only - they share the same headlights as the 2011-2013 WK2... I actually don't mind these. They don't look like most shitty aftermarket headlights you see on eBay
So I have been doing some research. These actually look pretty promising. They are manufacturered by "Winpower" (Win power International Technology Co.,Ltd Official Website) who specializes in aftermarket headlamps mostly for VWs, but they cover many brands
Anywho - I found a place that carries Winpower for VWs and shot the guy an email. The website I found is "becautoparts.com" I shot "edward" an email he's going to see what kind of pricing he can get here.
I spoke with 2 guys via instagram who installed Winpower headlights in their VWs and they really seem to like them
Yeah it looks like the perfect compromise between getting the OEM and having the gap/whole new front end and getting something that looks similar and is 100% swappable. The only issue I would have is making the inner projector be the turn signal and the HID cutoff/beam pattern.
I really dislike the 2011 running lamp - I got LED bulbs in mine, but its just a temporary fix until something like this came along.
Good news here I actually went straight to the source. Apparently they even have 2 different versions for the 2011-2013. I have been talking to Mark Wen over at Winpower in China. First and foremost - he told me I could buy directly from them for $475 + $158 shipping to Chicago IL. He mentioned right out the gates that they would do a group buy - apparently these guys are very familiar with the car communities and how they operate (such as the VW / Audi community)
This guy has been pretty cool.
So this is where I am at with this guy:
1) I know individual pricing is $475 + shipping from China direct. (ie: $158 to Chicago
2) Waiting to see what he says for a group buy - discount pricing
3) Someone above asked about 14-15 headlights, yes they make those too, check out "Skunkd" 's build thread - pages 25+
4) Here is the real deal link to the 2011-2013 units version 1: 2011-2014 Jeep Compass Headlight -- Product Show -- Win Power International Technology Co., L TD.
5) Here is the real deal link to the 2011-2013 units version 2: http://www.wpdrl.com/Showprot.aspx?id=592

I am not talking to a guy at BEC Auto Parts who sells these headlights and he told me "winpower" is simply a re-seller and not the actual manufacturer and they test all these units before selling them once they get them in from wherever - assuming China. Talking to him maybe I can do a writeup on a set here
Would this be a plug and play on a 2012 wk2? Any video of them being in operation? If all looks good and the answers are yes then I would be in for a group buy.
Probably not - probably needs a wire harness if you are coming from a factory halogens. Now - for everyone's information as to why I am interested in these personally (as I have SRT headlights) my headlights were previously painted black and the paint shop scuffed the lenses to get the paint to adhere I was never able to remove some deep stress fracture-looking scratches in my lenses so I am interested in these. If I had to guess, a wire harness like the one user "Jeepaddicted" makes on the forums here might be capable of firing up these aftermarket units. We will see. (I am running his wire harness which has a can-bus morimoto resistor in line)
Ed at BEC Auto Parts is checking into the quality of these lights, basically he said he doesn't want to get involved unless the quality of the units are worthy
Just seal them with silicone like I did in my build thread then you don't have much to worry about someone try these already! It only takes 20 min to seal then up good. The ones I have are made by eagle eyes. For the 14-15 not sure if they are related.

And they were cheaper at $376 for the pair for the 2014  shipped. (I had to pay tax since they are here in CA) but I got the lights in 2 days, now to get off my arse and install them and my hitch...
I also would be interested provided it was not a major issue to install on 12 Overland with HID. I wouldn't be opposed to having use a few adapters, but I do not want to be slicing wires.
The "eagle eye" headlights you see on ebay for the 14-15 are not the same as the 11-13 - not the same manufacturer nor the same quality which is why the 11-13 units are much more expensive. I told this guy Ed over at BEC to hop on here and create an account and reply. He apparently ordered a set to check out construction as he does not want to get involved in something that is built like crap.
It's Ed, at BEC, I do have a sample set of these lights arriving here in about a week from now, here are a few photos. Once they arrive I will take some close up photos of the lights showing the plug connectors, etc, and try my best to describe them.
I have a buddy here locally with a Grand Cherokee and I can see if he is willing to test them as well.
From discussion with the factory, the Chinese market Compass\Grand Cherokee only came with halogen headlights, so if they fit there, they should fit over here. Sometimes though, car manufacturers do odd things in terms of wiring between different markets, so its best to see what the lights are like when they are actually here.
In terms of selling them, etc, its best to wait until they are here and we had a chance to do a thorough examination of them first.
