I like the ones in these pics too. Look like the ones for the GC but have a clear corner lens rather than an amber one.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

I have some new for anyone interested in these lights. I'm currently having a harness made for these, from my research since the compass (I'm putting these on my gf's compass) use all the same plugs as doing the OEM HID retrofit. So I'm getting the harness made for the grand cherokee retrofit and will see if I can get them to work. For those of you with the OEM HID lighting, these will be a direct plug and play swap, and they do appear to have leveling motors built in to them, so you will be able to retain that function as well.(Or at least I believe so, there is a plug on the up and down leveler, and the winpower rep told me they retain all factory functions.)

Very cool, like others,am going to wait to see how others find them to operate long term.I'm just one of those owners who don't want to put anything on my Jeeps unless the product has a proven track record.Probably over cautious, too much so for my own good on occasion, just cautious after problems with "add owns"that were problematic on another Jeep I have owned some 26 years.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

All the research I have done on these units they don't come in two "versions" as far as lighting goes. Meaning, there is no halogen version and an HID version.

The sellers are simply selling the aftermarket housings, which have projector lenses ALONG with HID upgrade kits. Which are probably shitty kits.

The 14+ guys have it made right now as they have multiple aftermarket headlight options. We only have this one from what I can tell and a couple halogen OEM replicas.

Luckily, they are a D2S kit, so you can use anything off the shelf to replace them with. If I run into any problem with anything, I'm immediately swapping everything out with stuff from TRS.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

Well, while I can confirm that they will work using the OEM retrofit harness, I will not personally be able to make these work on my compass since I have daytime running lights on the high beams. Having the high beam as the DRL makes the shutter open, so both the Xenon bulb and the high beam bulb come on, but since the Xenon bulb isn't actually getting the signal, so it causes it to flicker.

So while I can confirm that they do work with the retrofit harness, they will not work if you have the high beam drl. As far as the DRL lights on the new headlights, I was just going to use a standalone DRL module for them, but they take the H13 plug used on the OEM bi-xenon for the inner light.

Also, I am going to put these up for sale with the new harnesses for both sides if anyone is interested.

As long as you know the pins you can make anything work. Where did you buy these and how much are you selling them for?

Everything worked when you turn the lights on, no flickering whatsoever, it was only when I turned them off and my DRL came on is when it started flickering. I got them off of eBay at the $700 price, and the harness with both pig tails ran me $115 but I'd like to get at least $500 shipped for them since I never even installed them, they are essentially brand new with the plastic still on them.
