Hope these pan out because I want!
One of the only reasons I wanted a 14 was the lights

Very odd. Well, I told him to chime in over here ( I sent him a PM ) He could use this as an opportunity to profit for himself as his harnesses were top-notch.

But one last remark I will say, these OEM connectors are not impossible to acquire if he doesn't want to help us out.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

Sept 21st Update

So, I was doing some more research, and had some discussion with the manufacturer of these lights. This is what I found out.

1. All Chinese made Jeep Compass, uses projector headlights, same as found on the 2015 "Limited" edition. None of them have reflector lights like here.

So, these lights will fit on the 2015 Limited edition as the wiring is the same.

2. The 2014+ Grand Cherokee has Halogen projector headlights, it appears these lights will fit as well, as the wiring is the same. The plugs are all the same, eg, single 3 pin plug for both the low and high beams.

As well, the wiring plugs appear the same as found on the Eagle Eye headlights.

So, if you have 2014+ Grand Cherokee with halogen projector headlights or a limited edition Compass with projector headlights these will work for you.

If you have an earlier model with reflector lenses, they will not. BUT, I'm working with the factory on getting adapters made up, I need to send them a set of the reflector headlights to test out and develop adapters for. This is going take a few weeks to do, but hopefully by Thanksgiving we will have a solution for you guys.

In the mean time, anyone wants to try out the headlights that I have here, please let me know. You need to have halogen projector headlights in your car.

Worst case they don't work, return them, and will refund you any costs, so you are not out of pocket.

While the cables might work on 2014+ grand cherokee's the headlight size is not the same as the 2013 and prior wk2's. So these lights will not work unless you feel like cutting and molding your bumper to try and get them to fit on a 2014+.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

Ed the headlights in question physically fit the 2011-2013 Grand Cherokee - these retailers online are simply advertising it as fitting certain model year Jeep Compasses...

Let's just get one of these units and compare plugs - not that difficult here

Let's all agree that the only hold up here is making a proper wire harness which again I don't think is a problem at all

Let's take a look at these aftmarket units at this webpage that shows a zillion pictures of it

ok great.. pictures... now we have an idea of what the plugs should look like. Let's compare to OEM Halogen and OEM HID units for 2011-2013...(thanks ebay)

2011-2013 OEM Halogen rear

halogen passenger's side...

2011-2013 OEM HID rear
HID driver's side....

HID passenger's side...

My viewpoint in all this is simply that I'm just happy someone is making these units - worry about wiring later - that's not the hard part.

Re: 2011-2013 guys - have you seen these on eBay?

I looked over the photo labels and made some corrections.

I am assuming that instead of using a shutter like some modern halogen projector headlights they have resorted to using a separate bulb for the high beam.

These could be used on trucks with halogens but I would not endorse trying to use these on a truck with factory bixenon.

Using these headlights even on pre 2014 compass these would need adapter.

Making an adapter and DRL harness for these would be pricey and you still would have to provide your own bulbs and ballasts.

Boom.

Let's start a pull on who's in if we can get these to work on a 2011-2013 with HID'S

I'm definitely in if they are around 400-500 bucks

Same boat as you guys, at a $500 price point it would be worth it

Considering you still need to address 1) A wire harness 2) HID upgrade kit on top of the housings themselves
