Guys I have been playing around with different styles of CREE LED bulbs that I find on ebay.
After trying and recommending the White CREE 3157 dual intensity Projector style rated at 60 watts 12x5 watts LEDS.
I saw this new styled bulb for REFLECTOR styled lights that have the LEDS firing into the reflector bowls.
This bulb only has 4 LEDs mounted to it and is rated at 20 watt consumption 4x5 watts LEDs
Side by side comparison

Reflector Style CREE LED bulb
Aluminum construction
4 LEDS
RIGHT (of photo)
Projector style CREE LED bulb
8 radially mounted bulbs
4 axially mounted bulbs (behind the projector)
Aluminum and plastic construction
12 LEDS
Compatible with:
US spec headlights for DRLs.
SRT/Ecode headlights for both DRL(High mode) and park/running lights(low mode) at nigth.
Pics of the truck show that the reflector bulb is installed in the passenger side headlight while the projector style is installed in the drivers side headlight. (This is in park light mode I did the SRT/EURO park light mod and this is actually the dim setting in the first pic.)
Looking at them head on the out put looks the same. The Second pic was full bright DRL mode on a rainy day.
Side note: people have asked about putting HID in the DRL as supplemental high beams. I don't endorse this practice because what I discovered with the DRLs are the the light pattern extends about 100 to 150 feet infront of the vehicle in highpower DRL mode but the height of the beam is not controlled so light is scattered up to as high as 15 to 20 feet in the air so this would definitely cause glare to oncoming motorists. So this would not make them good highbeams because of the very limited range.
