2011 Grand Cherokee Fog Lights

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited - I am installing external PIAA fog lights and would like your suggestion on the best way to run wires through the firewall for an external fog light kit. Also, where do you suggest connecting the hot lead for the switch. I am planning on connecting the hot lead in the engine compartment to the aux jump post. Thoughts? Thank You.

This 2011 is the best vehicle we have owned - I have over 20 sales vehicles in the fleet that we constantly turn over and the Jeep is fantastic!

On the passenger side of the engine compartment, there is a firewall access grommet that comes out behind the glove box.

Being the battery is under the passenger seat, it would be almost as easy to install a fused circuit from there to your switch. Or, you could get fancy and fab up a switched relay.
