Id use a high temp gloss black. Youre psinting the chrome part, not the lense. Tape off the reflector area. For reseaking ive found a thin bead of 3M automotive seam sealer to work the best

Sorry that's what I meant was the chrome . Do you think it needs any sanding or primer for a solid coating?

Honestly, if you can get the chrome part out of the headlight housing id let it sit in oven cleaner. Thatll eat the chrome off without damaging the plastic, best way to do it. Im just not sure if the chrome comes out on these lights or not. Otherwise, sand it with some 500 grit then a red scotch pad and a few light coats of etch primer, then the black

My only gripe with plastidip is you cant achieve a glossy factory style finish. Even with the glossifier it still isnt shiny enough for me. I chose to paint everything over plastidip cause I wanted it to appear as though it could have come from Jeep this way

Yea I hear ya.. I did plasti dip just so I could remove it if I decide to go back to chrome one day.. It's only on the emblems tho, I bought the altitude grill and rear brow

Im thinking about also dippiing my rev view mirrors black and also dipping the spolier on top black to really make stand out and give more sporty look.

im Buying the emblems from the alitude jeep its cheep and looks pretty good. and i will be removing the emblems on back that says 4x4

It's pretty easy to make a Laredo into an altitude except were doing it for a few hundred dollars lol
