I recently noticed the driver-side rear fender trim seems to be displaced; pulling away from the Jeep body slightly.
When I inspect from top-down, I can see the plastic rivet is not properly secured/seated inside the trim piece to the body:
Pressing, tapping and smacking the trim piece does not seem to seat the rivet. I'm not sure how much force to apply here. I do not want to bend the metal portion of the clip.
I feel like I can almost get the flat blade of a screwdriver in there to coax the rivet back in by pressing on the head of the rivet.
Any suggestions to correct this small issue?
