2012 Laredo X - Full De-Chrome Plus

Hey Gents,

Second post to update on my transformation.

- Painted gloss black window trim and roof rails
- Body color rear brow and grill
- Altitude headlights
- Gloss Black powder coated stock 18's
- Mopar roof rack

Currently having Trailhawk grill painted at shop. Hate the vertical slats on Laredo grill.. Plus chrome and paint don't get along and I'm tired of touching it up.

Looks great man. How much did the powder coating on the wheels run you? I'm thinking of plasti-dipping mine.

How did you black out the chrome trim around the windows

Brought it to a great shop by me .. They pulled it off and painted it. I def recommend.. The grill no, but the window trim isn't exposed to road debris so it holds up well.

Yea, the headlights changed the front end completely.. Especially with the painted grill.

Powder coating ran me about $500. Came out great. Couldn't be happier. I'm not a fan of the aftermarket selection of wheels. So instead of settling this was a relatively inexpensive fix to my blacking out problem.

Did you see them pull the trim out? Just wondering what it took to get the trim out. Thanks.

No, didn't see them do it.. I know it's a pain in the ass and def wouldn't be a driveway job. I remember them commenting about it how it sucked.
