Thanks to Home Depot's water logged bags of mulch I can assure you that the MOPAR cargo mat holds a LOT of water.

[QUOTE=bbjrhome;517706]After I got my final number I had the dealer toss in the Wheel locks and Mopar/Jeep cargo mat as a bonus. He did, I figured, it never hurts to ask

Do you find that the Mopar wheel locks stick out kind of far? I installed them on my Overland and think they look odd. Maybe I'll get used to the look.

Re: 2012 Overland, just got WeatherTech floor liners

I purchased the WeatherTech for my Jeep last year when I bought it. They fit great and look good also.

I am a car detailer and was hoping that they would completely protect the interior carpet. To my surprise when I was cleaning the interior last spring I found salt marks under the back of the floor liner and the sides- what a bummer and road salt is nearly impossible to get off carpet.

I did not know how it got there but the previous posts have made that clear. I guess it still beats using the carpeted matts for winter.

I will install them again come first snow.

I also agree that I will not use the weatherTech cargo liner but go with the Mopar product.

Re: 2012 Overland, just got WeatherTech floor liners

I lined the carpet with plastic and tape and past all edges (up by the dead pedal and taped tight) and over the hooks and then reinforced the hooks with clear strong tape before installing the WeatherTech liners.

Re: 2012 Overland, just got WeatherTech floor liners

I'm lucky enough to have a brother in the cleaning business. After salt got onto my carpet last winter (mostly from before the WeatherTechs arrived, and before I did my floor hook hole infill previously described), it had hardened and resisted all efforts to remove. But the answer was to use a extractor vacuum to do the cleaning (some places call this a "steam vacuum" but that is a misnomer. You just need a vacuum that injects warm water with the appropriate solvent/soap and them immediately vacuums it back up. Enough cycles and it will work on any soluble stain. Took all the salt out.

To get rid of road salt that's dried on carpeting, just get a cup of water and poor it on the carpet - around the salty parts of course. Then scrub for just a few seconds with a brush to mix the water into carpet; don't even need to use much elbow grease. The water will dissolve the salt. Then just use a shop-vac to suck up the water. Can't even tell the salt was ever there.

yep, they stick WAY out and the seat on the acorn isn't as wide as the stock lug nut. I believe this is a problem and they will change them. They also have a weired gray band around them don't get what thats for.

I'll post up some pics for folks to see.
