Talking 2013 Laredo WK2: Matte Army Green build

Sup guys, this is my first Jeep and SUV in general. The first car I ever bought (my actual first car was my moms Hyundai Elantra lol) was a 2003 Infiniti G35 sedan 5AT, followed by a lease 2011 G37S sedan 6MT, and finally by a leased 2013 BMW E93 M3 convertible 6MT. The M3 was my favorite, but the least practical. No trunk room, no backseat room, rear seats didn't fold... but omg the sound and feel of this car. Biggest problem is living in NYC and the constant destroyed roads. Even highways are full of potholes and they rarely get fixed. When they do, they are instantly ruined and it's like dodging craters. I do love power and speed but the SRT8 version of this car is almost triple the price of this lease!

I grabbed a lease takeover for exactly 1 year on a 2013 Grand Cherokee Laredo as I've always wanted to try a Jeep. I like to snowboard, downhill mountain bike and go camping, beside other random trips and activities. My finances and lack of parking allow me to only own 1 car so having a sports car is not really an option. I do have a Ninja ZX6-R to enjoy in the summer though

Another thing to mention is I own a car customization shop and I cannot keep a car stock. All my vehicles end up getting a full makeover and I'm about to do the same with this truck. Iíll keep the thread updated as I add new modifications. My top priorities would be the HID/LED headlight conversion with custom black paintwork inside, a full vinyl wrap, and lowering it with a proper 22Ē wheel setup (and lots more). Check out my previous rides:

The car came with navi but no back-up camera so that was the first thing I installed. Parking is tight in NYC and Iím honestly not used to the size of the truck, coming from much smaller cars. Not sure if itís just like OEM, but it certainly does the trick:

Next was the tints. Rear comes in 20%, I did the two front windows in 35% not to get too much trouble from the police, and the windshield is a 75% ceramic for heat reduction in the summer.

Already bought a like-new pair of OEM Xenon headlights, getting them ready for the retrofit. And Eibach lowering springs so she can sit pretty

Nice set of rides! Don't forget a hitch or roof mount for your bike/boards. Good luck with the build and have fun. And because you have experience I was thinking about wrapping the roof of my billet silver gc in gloss black vinyl, what should I expect to pay?

Are you going to do anything about the gap below the headlights or just live with it? I'ts something I've wanted to do but I wouldn't be able to live with the gap. I'd constantly think about it.

Umm, how do you edit posts? Looked 3 times can't find the button to update my previous posts. Anyway...

Here she is complete! Fully vinyl wrapped in Matte Army Green, gloss black vinyl window trim, SRT8 grille wrapped in green, fog bezels painted gloss black, roof rails wrapped in gloss black. 2014 HID/LED headlights retrofitted (no issues, can do it for others), just need to fill the gap under them already making a plastic piece.

OEM Gloss black trunk trim wrapped in matte green leaving the "JEEP" black

Vossen 22" x 10.5" VFS2 rims all around, custom drilled out to fit Jeep bolt pattern. First ever set of these wheels on a Cherokee! Nitto NT420S 285/40/22 tires with custom white lettering (PITA to install). Painted brakes black so they don't stand out (they're small, ugly and rusted).

Custom painted black outline on the taillights, with a light smoke. Morimoto LED bulbs for extra brightness.

The red glow are demon eyes and I can control them to glow any color. They do not replace the OEM hid bulbs, it's a show/meet mod.

Looking good man. Do you have a closeup of the modded headlights?

justforjeeps.com has a bunch of the SRT bumper parts for your model and the newer one to match your headlights if you've thought about swapping.

Looking really good!! Would love to see in in person at the Summer Meet in July
Also, would you be able to post a video of the headlight functionality?
