2014 Altitude parts

When can we expect them to be available for sale? (based on sales of parts from previous years)

I would love to purchase the white mirror covers, so that I dont have to vinyl them.

Re: 2014 Altitude parts

Is there a specific website to order these from? Or just from the dealers?

Have a Laredo, but want to add some Altitude accents to it.

You can not purchase just the mirror caps. You have to purchase the entire mirror just to get the caps.

So it almost just makes sense to try and trade with someone looking for chrome mirror caps or who doesn't really care

Give www.Justforjeeps.com a call and they will help you ( it will make things faster if you have a VIN from a 2014 altitude)

Things that would be specific to the 2014 Altitude exterior:

Gloss black Grille bezels
Satin finish chrome grille mesh
Gloss black rear step pad trim (available now)
Gloss black lettering (available now)
flat grey trimmed taillight ( not sure if available yet)
Rear brow with black and grey jeep badge ( not sure if available yet)

Re: 2014 Altitude parts

Nice, thanks for posting.

Any thoughts on doing yourself? Easy as it seems with the decals, or should a dealer do it?

Also someone kicked around the idea of powder coating the rims black rather than getting bigger rims and tires.

Anyone heard of doing that before?

Love that Altitude look, just not the price tag...on a budget!

Re: 2014 Altitude parts

Does anyone know if the rear JEEP emblem letters on the Altitude is the bigger one or is it the same size as the front. I would like the black JEEP emblems but on my 14 SRT, the rear JEEP emblem is bigger than the front.

Its your car and you can mix and match whatever parts you want to get the look that you want.

With some of the parts if you are pretty handy you could swap them out yourself.

Vinyl wrapping or professional repainting of some of the chrome bezels is an option

You could have the grille bezels vinyl wrapped in gloss black and do the taillight bezels in either gloss black or titanium.

Wheels:

The most cost effective route for instant gratification is to powder coat what you already have.

But if you are patient you can alway wait until you need some new tires and then up size your tires and wheels.

2014 Overland wheels are up there but if you look on ebay you can find some that have already been painted.

The other option is to use 2011-2013 Overland wheels in gloss black these are easy to find on ebay or with OEwheelsLLC (a forum vendor) and they don't cost alot.
