2014 Black JGC Overland...Clear Bra?

I have been back and forth with this issue with all my vehicles and have never pulled the trigger. I am forced to drive my Jeep 64 miles daily on both highways and backroads. The rock chips are driving me crazy..as are the bugs.

I talked to a guy yesterday who owns a Lambo and a Ferrari and he has a clear bra on both.

I LOVE the metal flake look of my paint job and worry that a clear bra on the front/hood would take that away.

Who has them? Who loves them? What brand? How much to get installed?

Thanks for your input.

Re: 2014 Black JGC Overland...Clear Bra?

The guys here talk a lot about 3M and Xpel film. Some say that the Xpel film is thicker and has better self healing properties. I'm going to guess that Xpel would be the majority recommendation.

3m protection for the front

Paint Protection Film - XPEL Technologies Corp.

None of this is cheap... but then, neither is fixing rock chips and such.

If I had purchased instead of leased my Overland I'd have done the front with Xpel.

Maybe the next one...

Why not just use Optimum Opti-seal or Adam's quick sealant? Both are super easy to apply and get great reviews. Look them up on google or here at Jeep garage.

Re: 2014 Black JGC Overland...Clear Bra?

Tagging along... I would like to get this done for a good price.. The guys from auto image said 10k- 15k for most of my car.. Smh. First price I've heard so far so I have nothing to compare this too.. But he charged some 10k to do his corvette and thats in 3m..
