Re: 2014 Floor Mats - Same as 2013?

Got this from: Steve Bower Engineering Manager Winfield Consumer Products/Husky Liners:
"We have not seen a 2014 model to know if the floor pans have changed—but given it was just redesigned in 2011 I doubt it changed. I think the rush to launch as a 2014 is due to the addition of the diesel engine. I will gladly let you know when we see a 2014 and do check back when your vehicle arrives."

I would guess, with what has just been discussed, that I wouldn't order anything that hasn't been designed specifically for the '14my.

Great - I think we'll be waiting for a while..

I'm going by a local jeep dealer and eyeball it.

Re: 2014 Floor Mats - Same as 2013?

I went to the local jeep dealer last night and looked at a 2013 - comparing it to my 14 it looks so close.. But they were saying it's different. I can't even see a difference, but I'd rather be safe than sorry for ordering the wrong mats.

I'll wait for further confirmation from someone who has 13 mats they can test in a 14. Otherwise I think I will be mat-less for a while.

I'm with you. I'll probably just pick-up something at Walmart to tide me over.

As the 14's are starting to flow in now, can those of you that have mats post pics. I see someone mentioned slush mats fit fine from a 13 in the 14? Pics would be great as to the type of coverage you get with those mats. I need something to hold me over until weathertech releases for the 14's.

how about the rear cargo area? I'm assuming this hasn't changed from '13?

Anyone with the '14 have mats that they can comment about? Looking to get some mats before my GC gets delivered. Thanks!

Re: 2014 Floor Mats - Same as 2013?

Bought the 2013 GC Mopar slush mat set and cargo liner for my new 2014 Overland.

Front mats: Fit over both floor hooks tightly and appear to be just fine. Edge to edge coverage is good. Not sure if true 2014 Mopar all weather mats will be different but these will work just fine.

Second row: The one piece mat for the second row is not a great fit (not sure if this is due to a difference in the '14's or if they were just poorly designed--even for the 13's) . It bubbles over center hump slightly and the front areas at each foot well are very shallow--leaving much of the carpet exposed right at the lower back of the front seats. In fact if I put over the carpeted floor mats almost a 1/3 of the floor mat is still exposed at the front most area underneath the all weather single piece mat.

Cargo Liner: Fits perfectly.

I was most surprised at the second row as I doubt there was much changed in that area--I figured the front mats would be the problem ones.

All this being not unhappy with the purchase as the drivers floor mat is probably the most necessary and I did not want to wait 6--months.
At some point in the future may look at Weather-tech or another 3rd party mat for the back seat .

I just picked up slush mats from the dealer today. They ordered them - not sure if they were specific for the 14 or not, but they fit fine. Coverage seems ok to me, but agree the second row is not the best coverage. They fit good over the middle hump, but do not extend far under the front seats.

The dealer I work with has always been accommodating and the MOPAR slush mats are always part of the deal at no cost. I always get the money part settled and agreed to, then say for good measure how about including a full set of mats. Not been told no yet!

Re: 2014 Floor Mats - Same as 2013?

This might help

EEP THOSE NEW CARPETS CLEAN!

For anyone wondering about floor liner availability for 2014 GC I received this reply email from Husky Liners this morning. Thier reply says that the floor pans are the same as 2013 GC.
So this would indicate that 2013 GC Weather Tech products would also fit 2014 GC.

Thank you for your interest in Husky Liner products!

The WeatherBeater products for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee are available now. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has had a design refreshed and had some mechanical components changed but the floor pans have not been revised. The liners from the 2013 model do carry over to the 2014 as do the mud guards. We do not yet have an X-act Contour product but it is being developed. It should begin shipping later in the Spring.

We use an industry standard data base to assign parts. This data base helps to insure that customers get the correct parts for their vehicles. The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee has not been added to the data base of vehicles yet so we cannot list it yet. You can use the 2013 Grand Cherokee data and will get the correct parts. I have attached images of the WeatherBeater parts in a 2014 Grand Cherokee.

Thank again!
