I did...then wired in resistors in parallel to the turn signal circuit. Works fine now. Now error...no fast blink.

Do you know what resistors you used (so I can order a set)?

Re: 2014 GC lights in 2011?

Complete rookie here. Just purchased a 2015 GCL what exactly do i need to make the conversion work . I know most here are discussing a 2011-2013 conversion with harness, I'm hoping it will be an easier road for me. These headlights are a must for me. Anything that points me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you all in advance

I'm currently in the process of converting my 2012 to 2014. PM Jeep_addicted for the specific harness you will need for your setup.

Only issues currently are:
*rapid blink on turn signals (but not hazards)(anyone know what resistor I would need?)
*the auto leveling system on one side is slower than the other not a big deal but makes it look like it has a lazy eye
*needs to be leveled
*No DRL unless the lights are on (might address at a later date) bumper DRL function as normal
*can't figure out a solution to the gap without upgrading to the '14 front end... toyed with the idea of finding someone who could 3D print a part but not sure its worth while unless they are local so can deal with lots of trial and error fit tests
I plan on spreading the gap more evenly by installing washers and longer screws on the headlight washer trim. Not 100% sure it will work, or look good, but I'm going to give it a shot.

I appreciate your response. I will contact him shortly. Also got a pm from someone that may be able to help. Any help is appreciated, as I hope being I have a new 2015 Laredo that the harness and lights will do the trick in getting me to replicate the factory oem

Re: 2014 GC lights in 2011?

Has anyone gotton the harness yet? For 2011-2013 HID to 2014/15 HID? Everyone I'v seen is halogen to HID.

It's killing me having these lights just sitting around waiting to go in

Re: 2014 GC lights in 2011?

I'v sent emails to both. The lighting firm said they had one but wouldn't sell it because customers were having alot of issues installing it.

Really looking for the HID to HID/LED harness.

Re: 2014 GC lights in 2011?

I got far enough along that I was able to find connectors and parts for everything needed to make a HID to HID harness (armed with pbalias wiring chart), except the leveling motor connector. I bought a pair of leveling motors just for the connector.

Unfortunately harvesting the connector isn't very clean, and wouldn't yield a very nice looking conversion harness.

I also have concerns about water/how I would protect the connection.

This and the fact lamps were really expensive caused me to put my project on hold. I'm prepared to move ahead if I can find a suitable connector; seems there is a decent supply of lamps on eBay now and prices are reasonable. Anybody have a source I could try for the connector? This is what it looks like:
