For what ever reason the forum wont let me edit my OP... anyways, sorry for the delay on all of this, I ran into some issues with getting the daytime running lights (LED strip 100%) to stay on when the lights were in Auto and the sun was out... The solution I found was a fix, but i lost some functionality of the lights. The functionality i lost was the 60% dimming of the LED strip at night when the headlights are one. Instead of Dimming, the LED strip stays at 100%. frankly I dont care anymore after fighting with this so long. I was able to get a Wiring Diagram from pbalias which helped confirm that my Jeep is having some sort of issue when it came to the Daylight running lights... frankly I cannot explain it. long story short I used the Pink/yellow
wire from the multi pin connector (the one that regulates headlight leveling and such) and wired it straight into Pin #6 on the 2014 headlights. I then just disconnected #3 pin all together, which disables the 60% LED at night feature, which is irrelevant since the LED's stay at 100% all the time while the vehicle is running. Hopefully this makes sense to you all. Just PM me for questions.
Also, pbalias is selling the connectors needed to build a FULL plug and play harness.
Also, I will build a duplicate cut and install harness set up like I have for the first person who comes up with 100$. send a PM if you're interested. im just looking to make up lost cost and I ordered 2 extra 16 pin plugs and tons of Pins when i built my harness.
here is the updated harness diagram I made. hope it helps. Oh, and i freaking love these new headlights. the small gap doesn't make a difference to me in the slightest.
