Sweet. Will do, I appreciate the assistance.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Here's a new one- does anyone have lights that don't shut off in unison? One stays lit just a little bit longer than the other when they're shut off. . .

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

same here, one turns off 1/2 second different than the other. Danny from KB said the canbus is a capacitor and might be slightly off. It doesn't bother me too much.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Installed em last night with my cousin. The lights are bright as hell, I love em. Granted the cut off pattern is off but that doesn't bother me at all. And the drivers side shuts off about 1/3 of a second before the passenger side does. I'll post some pics when I get the chance today. The light is def brighter than stock. I wish I could adjust the cut off but oh well. Too bad Jeep doesn't offer HIDs as a stand alone option for our cars, the kit from KB works really well.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Did you have to reverse the wires on your canbus fixes, bumpin? I agree; these are a big improvement over the yellow-tinged factory halogens! Great low-buck mod for the Limited without having to pay for everything else in the Lux II package in order to get the OEM HIDs. My driver side HID shuts off a fraction of a second before the passenger side, too; doesn't bother me as long as they both stay lit when I want them to.

Both my lows and fogs do not shut off simultaneously. Does bother me too much. Still an awesome product

No, the wires were all good from the factory. My girlfriend says that the Jeep now winks before shutting off the lights, so theres that.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Okay, got the kit yesterday. Been working on installing and getting nowhere. I hooked up per instructions, turned on and blew the canbus cap. I checked all my polarities with my meter, polarity seems normal. Went to my second canbus fixer and rechecked all connections and the fuse. I'm getting nothing, passenger light(still stock) is still coming on fine. Any ideas what's going on here?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

It's best you call customer service at kbcarstuff.com (xenondepot.com), assuming that's where you purchased your HID kit - they can walk you through troubleshooting the installation.

Check the factory connector coming off of the headlight housing itself. It's not indexed and will allow you to connect it backwards.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

It has a clip, and that was aligned. Also didn't blow the second canbus I hooked up? Also tried a second ballast AND tried without the relay harness like I read someone else in this thread did. Nothing any which way. Put stock light back in and all is good with it, so not a fuse problem. I'm stumped.
