Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

MoparKing:Yes you can use coupon code MOPARHID to get $25 off and everything else you need for the installation.

atagilbert:No you would not need anything for the fog lights just the low beams would need a relay harness and canbus fix. Use coupon code MOPARHID to get $25 off and everything else you need for the installation.

Antonio186Congrats on the new vehicle! Let us know if you have any questions about HID kits for it

YO-ELAwesome! Enjoy your new lights! If you get the chance post some pictures.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Anxious to receive my XENON DEPOT Extreme HID upgrade for the fogs on my 2014 Summit. Curious if anyone has any input on the OEM projectors being reused with HID. Will the light just scatter too much and annoy on coming drivers? Additionally will this affect affect the factory warranty in anyway? Reason I am asking I just realized today I am getting moisture in both headlamp housings and will be visiting the dealer to have them swapped and don't want unnecessary aggregation.

on

is the loud noise the relay is making sound like a really loud buzzing like a bee hive? if so this is usually caused by the computer trying to regulate the power to the relay. i had the same problem on my wifes 2006 Chrysler 300 in order to resolve this you will need to jump a capacitor between the positive and negative side on the relay this is will keep the voltage consistent. the capacitor i used was 470µF 35V capacitor. they can be picked up cheap at radio shack for less than $2.00. so basically you are taking the relay out of the harness and installing this capactor into the harness where the relay sits then put the relay back in place to hold the capacitor in place, if everything went well when you start you jeep and turn the lights on the buzzing will be gone.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

atagilbert: Did you install our can bus fix? It sounds like the problem you are having is a result of not installing this component. Please send me a PM with your order info so that I can pull up the order.

Bubblescout00: Your OEM beam pattern will be replicated. As for the moisture, our bulbs will come with proper grommets, but you can usually count on a dealer to try and blame anything aftermarket - regardless of whether it's legitimate or not.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

No - we have run into issues with postal delays. Please send me a pm with your order info so that I can pull up your order details. FYI: we have had some extremely long shipping times over the last 2 weeks as a result of the postal service. If you call Canada post they will blame us customs, and if you call usps they will say the packages are still with Canada Post..... Needless to say it's been a royal pain in the .... We have opened an investigation, and should have clarification next week.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

wow still haven't received mine yet either...

QUESTION..

W/ the HID's, what happens to the DRL's?

Currently isn't the low beam used as the DRL's?
