Putting HID bulbs in a halogen reflector is my biggest pet peeve. It absolutely throws light everywhere, and also contains plenty of glare. If you deny this, than you're ignorant to the facts.
Even putting HID bulbs into the halogen
projectors creates substantial glare. The projectors are formed around the bulb, meaning, the focal points, size of the bowl, etc., are created for that halogen bulb and that bulb only.
At the very least, for those individuals with halogen reflectors, please for the sake of other drivers, do not
put an HID kit into your halogen light.
