Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

XenonDepot, may i suggest something? What may help the forum members is a picture diagram of all wiring set up the right way ex: h11/9006 connector ( wire colors and polarity)->relay connector ( matching colors to correct wires -> CANBUS connector ( matching the color wires to correct wires on stock harness connector) -> HID ballast connector. this would sort a lot of confusion....

Thank you for your suggestion, the HID kits are designed to be plug and play so its just a matter of connecting the male and female connectors to each other. Its very rare that there would be polarity issue but in case there is, the HID kit does have polarity protection. In the odd chance there is, nothing will light up and you simply need to reverse the polarity on the connector you connect to your stock harness (EX: H11, 9006, H10 & ETC)

Here is a great video we together on how to achieve this:

Some people said instructions were not included, mine came with it. Looks straight forward. Need to pick up some rivets and borrow volt meter from a friend.

Install write up coming soon.

Xenondepot streamed HID is the best, my still going strong after one year of ownership. Watch out for the reverse polarity, read up on the forums.

Thanks for all the great feedback!

If you have a 2014 Grand Cherokee than it would be a H11 bulb for the fog lights.
