Thanks for the feedback and glad to hear your happy with the results. That's correct the 5000k bulbs would have a little blue in them whereas the 4300K is a crisp white color with no blue.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Would putting in a HID kit void any warranties? My jeep is a lease.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Hi,

There is no legitimate reason for an HID kit to void your warranty. The bulbs do not burn any hotter then your stock bulbs. We also provide you with a relay harness which allows you to power the ballast directly from the battery as opposed to the OEM wiring.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Just received my two h11 kits. I also ordered two can bus fixes but didn't see them in the box. Are they in the kit itself? Lots of parts, i expected them to just be in the shipping box. What exactly do they look like. Thanks

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Bought this Xeon Depot KIT based on this forum and it was stated that it was plug and play, I've tried 3 different times to install it with issues everytime. I even went to 2 guys who install HIDs all the time and they could not get this thing to work properly. The last install the lights wouldn't even turn on, so I figured that there is something wrong with the KIT. I send it back to Xeon Depot and they stated the KIT is testing out ok. Now I have to pay $30 to ship the kit back that won't even work.

Extremely dissatisfied.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

SheltonJeep14: The canbus fixes will be in the box. They look like this:

CANBUS Fix

Thegame2024: I personally tested the kit. Every component was tested independently and proved to be working. You also failed to mention that you sent the kit back with a broken bulb as it appears that whomever was installing the kit installed the grommet on the bulb incorrectly... I will give you a call shortly to discuss.

That still wouldn't explain why the Kit wouldn't work (it was stated that both lights turned on during the test). I am looking forward to your call. Thanks.

Thank you, found them. They just appeared to be smaller in the pics.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Steve -

I'm thinking of ordering the Xtreme HID kit for my '14 Limited with projector halogen headlights, but I'm confused about how this affects the (separate) high-beam bulbs - is a separate kit required to run HID high beams, or should I just go with LED highs? And same question regarding the fog lights, too - separate HID kit, or LEDs? If the latter, which LED for both highs and projectors? Thanks!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Hi,

Thank you for contacting me.

As per your questions:

1) Upgrading the low beams on your vehicle will have no effect on the high beams as your vehicle uses 2 separate bulbs for the low and high beam. I would not suggest upgrading your high beams to HID given that HIDs have a warm up period when initially ignited. If you had them installed in your high beams and required a quick bust of light they would not be very functional. You would need to select the "h11" fitment to upgrade the low beams on your vehicle. Go with 4300k for the brightest possible output.

2) Fogs: You would need to purchase an additional HID kit if you wanted to upgrade the fog lights to HID. Are you thinking of upgrading the fog lights for cosmetic reasons or for functional ones? If you don't care about function and simply want your fogs to match your HID low beams then go with 5000k H11 LED bulbs. However, if you want your fogs to actually be brighter then I would suggest going with another H11 HID kit.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Thanks for the response! If I decide to go with the HID kit, I'd leave the high beams as is and get the Xtreme HID kit @ 4300K for the low beams and for the whitest light. If I upgrade the fog lights, it wouldn't be for functional reasons - I can count on two fingers the last times in the past 10 years I drove in fog severe enough to turn on any lights at all. I'd go with the LED fog light bulbs just for appearance (to match the HID lows).

I saw on another thread (here) where Danny with your company posted that using the coupon code MOPARHID results in $25 off, plus a free relay harness and CANBUS fix - is that code still valid? And I thought the relay harness was already included in the Xtreme HID kit? Any other codes or discounts (e.g., free shipping?) currently available? Thanks for your assistance!
