Is the issue only happening one side? If so try to swap the relay harness to see if the problem follows it or not. Also try this with the canbus fix.

Was the first post on this thread not helpful? What else did you need help with?

Yes, this is only happening on the left (drivers) side. In fact, today the headlight flickered for almost the entire drive into work. Then it completely shut off while driving. Not sure what's going on here..

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

So when installing the kit It should be oem harness, can bus resistor, mopar harness then into headlight? Never installed HID's before so i'm trying to do my research before they get here. They should be here Friday! I'm installing both low and fog lights so I guess it would be better to take off my bumper?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Yup - the Canbus component should go in between your OE harness and the relay, NOT in between the harness and the ballast.

Hi,

Cover - if the vehicle has a cover on the back of the headlight then you will need to drill a hole in the dust cap / Cover to run the wire from the bulb to the ballast. Our kit will come with a grommet to reseal the housing. You will not need to splice/tap/cut any wires at all.

Shadow - Some forum members found that by installing the HID bulb a certain way they obtain a cleaner light distribution. In order to do this, they needed to trim one of the guides on the H11 bulb to enable the bulb to be installed a certain way.

Jim_in_PA - sweet! What kind of bulb did you go with?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Just the CREE LED replacement "bulbs" for some "color correction" for the fogs to 5K like my DRLs and projectors already are sitting at. DRLs were done about a month ago, but that was before I noticed your forum support...

Checked all the connections and I realized my ground was bad on the left side. However, now the right side isn't turning off. Is this an issue with the relays?
