Value has nothing to do with it. Thank you for choosing to buy from a supporting vendor!

GeekSquad - If the light is not shutting off at all then I would check the relay on that side as for some reason it's staying closed.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Just installed the kit in my 2014 GC and love it. Had to turn off the DRL because they were flickering, but I can live with that. It will just be great to be able to really see at night. Thanks to the guys at XenonDepot. Awesome kit.

Finally got to installing the LED lamps in my fogs today. Despite not being double jointed in my wrists and the "fun" of getting those OEM light bases to release on both sides (pressing the lever is tough in a cramped position, especially on the passenger side)...but that's a Jeep issue...I got them in and love the end result. It's really nice having that nice 5K color "everywhere" up front now. Review posted on your site for the lamps I bought.

No more "yellow" lights down below.

Thanks for the feedback guys!! Glad to hear that you're happy with your purchase.

cgdc - Did you use the canbus fix?

Yes I used the canbus fix. It is connected directly to the car harness. I am going to recheck all my connections this weekend. I will let you know what comes of it.

Ok I couldn't wait for the weekend. It was bugging me. I put the canbus fix in the wrong spot. . So I moved them both to the correct spot in the connections and DRL now work like a charm. Thanks Steve for making me second guess myself and check. You guys are awesome.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

Last year I ordered the H11 30W XenonDepot LED Fog Light Bulbs [Color:5000K] to match my Factory Xenons on my 14' Overland. The color matched perfectly, but I was not happy with the light output.

I was thinking of going the easy route and just upgrade my bulbs to the H11 Philips X-treme Ultinon LED Bulbs as I thought these would be 3x brighter: 725lm total vs. 2400lm total. But after help from the forums, I was informed that this would not be the case...

So, I canceled that order (Bulbs happened to be back ordered for a week anyway) and I placed a replacement order for the H11 Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kits [HID Color:Philips Bulb Upgrade 4300K].

I've just spend the last two hours reading this whole thread and look forward to a clean install. I'm a little hesitant to remove the bumper, but with the help from the forums, it doesn't look like it'll be too hard.

Now that I will will be removing the bumper I was thinking of putting a 20" LED light bar in the lower Air Dam behind the grille. Living by the coast, we experience more than our fair share of fog and feel this would be a nice addition. However, I don't feel like dropping $900 on a Rigid light bar.... found a company OPT7 that has reasonable pricing bars and may go that route.

Will post pics when all finished. Thanks to the guys at KBcarstuff.com for helping me along the way.

Pardon me for quoting myself, but the edit time window expired long ago...'just wanted to say that I actually got to drive it at night last night for the first time since I installed the new LED fog lamps and I'm very pleased. The light is adequate for the purpose and having relatively consistent light temperature is pleasing to me. I'm not a "modification" guy, but count this as a nice investment in improving what was already an outstanding vehicle...for not a huge amount of money.
