Had regular HIDs Installed with canbus and relay and issues powering/shutting off while driving/ flickering... tried to resolve the issue 4 different times. Finally saw Skunkd installed DDM kits so i bought them and instead no issues on the 15 with these. The 14s are easy to work with HIDs vs the 15. This is the only solution I've come across that works on the 15s
Bgon, I have the same kit installed as you do (I think) and am very happy with it. I bought the kit skunkd installed which is the ddm "plus" kit for 2015+ mopar. The kit antsjeep is linking to is the "ultra" kit. I am just curious if the "ultra" kit actually works in the 2015s or if antsjeep is mistaken.

Yes I was mistaken... He has the PLUS HID kit. This is a screen shot from Skunkd's post:

Thanks for clearing this up--I was worried I was going to have to waste money on the ultra ballasts to try them out . I mean....ultra must be better than plus!

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I was trying to read through all of this. If I want to replace my headlights in my 2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude I would need just this kit?

DDM Tuning: HID and LED Lighting

That is the right kit to order and comes with everything you need.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

So I have a question regarding the Xenon 2015+ mopar kit. After putting off the install for a few weeks I think I am finally going to get around to it this weekend. The question I have is regarding the connections in the attached picture. I understand the diagram no problem except once I plug the HID bulb to the harness, there is still one more connection coming off of the HID bulb. The diagram shows "connection to car harness" which I imagine you plug right into the factory bulb harness. Where does the additional connector that comes off of the HID bulb plug into? Any pictures would greatly help. Thanks!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee HID Kit Installation

@jjablo6:

I'm not sure I understand which specific connector you are looking at, however... I would strongly look at getting this component as it eliminates the relay harness, resistors, capacitors, entirely:

HID Kit PWM HID kit Module | HID kit canceller | HID Anti-flicker module

Send me a PM with your order number... I'll help you out.

Steve

Steve sent me some anti flicker modules. I originally purchased xenondepots 2015+ mopar kit which includes relays, and some other goodies and was basically a bunch of wiring. I just finished the install and the lights look and work great. No error messages or anything. I also took a bunch of pictures so I will be uploading those as well sometime this weekend.

Below is what the HID kit looks like with the anti flicker module plugged in.
