2014 grand Cherokee Xtreme hid install question

On the 2014, to install Xtreme HIDs, does the front bumper needs to come off to access the caps and run the wires, or if I remove the ECU and air box I can access it that way?

Re: 2014 grand Cherokee Xtreme hid install question

according to the official thread, some user reported they were able to do it w/o taking the bumper off.
If it doesn't bother you to take the bumper off I would suggest it, you will probably have to replace the rivets in the wheel well.
I took the bumper off during my install (it was my 2nd time doing so so it only took like 10 minutes to take it off and take the 2 headlights out). I found having more space a lot better and allowed me to put the ballast & wires in less noticeable spots. W/o taking the bumper off your options are limited. just my 2c

Gotcha. Those plastic rivets, can I get those at an auto part store? Don't have a river gun...

ya, you wont find an exact match up (exact same rivet part @ a auto part store), but you just need some basic rivets to hold the trim. It's easier to just break them off and replace them.

Thanks. Going to Harbor freight tomorrow for a plastic rivet gun and an assortment of rivets.
