2014 headlights on to a 2011 laredo

hello everyone, I have been searching though hundreds of pages on this forum regarding upgrading the lights on a laredo, and I'm so very very confused.
I have a few simple questions, I have a 2011 laredo with halogen bulbs and i want the headlights on the 2014 that have the hid and led.

Is it simple to do? can i just buy the headlights and simply pull out my old ones and plug in the new ones? will they flicker? will the light still turn off when i use my turn signal? Do i need to do any special wiring or need a special wire harness?

has anyone done this mod and if yes can you post pics?

thank you for any help

I think I was one of the first to do it.

Need lights, harness, and ability to disable your factory drl's.

Tons of threads about it, this is one of the better ones...

Not sure the technical reason, but until I did the hid's would always flicker when not turned on, had to drive around with lights on until I had them disabled.

Having a canadian jeep, my dealer reflashed it to a US jeep, then disabled them, and has worked perfect since, over a year now!

The 14+ lights will leave a gap when installed on a 11-13 model.
IMO they look out of place and cheap.
