Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

Alright. Picked the Jeep up this morning (Auto Sound, Plainville, MA) and the Stealthbox install went great. The sound, even with the stock speakers (albeit getting another 400W added to them), is a night and day improvement (not to say German MAESTRO speakers won't be replacing the OEMs down the road!). Both John and Joe at Auto Sound were genuinely impressed with the set up and sound. I took a few pics and a couple vids, but the video recording can't really capture the bass from the Stealthbox. Still, you can see how clean the fitment/install is. The Alpine PDX-V9's compact size allowed for a perfect fit under the front seat with the processor -- most other amps would not have fit.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

Here's a vid of the Stealthbox in action. Like I said before, the audio on a smartphone cannot capture the real sound of the bass -- it comes out pretty "buzzing"

Colby-

Not exactly sure what you are asking (door rattle being good or bad), but when I turn the Stealthbox up, the whole Jeep shakes. In fact, I was out in the driveway inside the Jeep with the windows up, smoking a cigar, and my wife said she heard the bass from upstairs inside the house while in bed. The engineering of the Stealthbox is to put out some power!

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

Wheel mods include:
  • Custom MGP brake caliper covers (new)
  • Slotted and dimpled drilled Brake Performance rotors (new)
  • Black Gorilla locking lug nuts (new) one per wheel
  • SRT replica 20" wheels
  • Goodyear Fortera HL Tires 265/50R20
  • Black Gorilla lug nuts
  • SRT logo tire stem caps
  • Plasti-dipped OEM Jeep center caps (they were done over 10 months ago and still look great -- and it was a rough New England winter with LOTS of salt)
