Hello. Do you notice any rattling with the new stealth box?

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

Regezm3-

The Stealthbox does not rattle too much. However, with the amp turned up, and if I crank the Stealthbox up too much (I can adjust it manually with the Rux Knob) the rear lift gate will damn near vibrate off its hinges-- Lol!

By setting the sound system up with the right amp, processor, and subwoofer (Stealthbox), you get great sound and power without even coming close to maxing out the levels -- and getting too much "rattle"

Seriously, I probably get more complements on my wheels than anything else (well over a dozen comments so far just when filling up). I love the design and look. One of my coworkers who has a 2014 JGC SRT actually prefers this design over the stock 14 SRT 5 spoke OEMs.

Good news and bad news. I purchased my SRT replicas from OEWheelsllc.com but they are now out of stock:

Search Results

The good news is there are a couple ebay sellers who have similar replicas:

20 inch Matte Black 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Factory OE Wheels 2012 2014 5x5 | eBay

Hunt around and try to get the best deal. A bit of advice, unless you are going to buy the wheels with tires and TPSMs as a package (mounted and balanced) from the internet, go to whatever tire center you use and have them order and ship the wheels to them. You will pay some labor charges when they switch over your TPSMs and mount and balance the tread, but you won't have the liability issues (aka they won't install) that could arise with walking into a tire center with "outside" wheels and tires. Good luck!
I know its been awhile but did you notice a difference in MPG when you went to these? I'm wondering if they are heavier, lighter, or the same weight as the stock 5 spoke 20" rims?

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

sgrim80-

I did not notice any MPG difference. I wouldn't expect the 20" replicas to be lighter than stock because they are bigger than the 17" wheels they replaced, but I am not sure. I do know that the OEM SRT wheels are lighter, but way more expensive (full retail= $7302 for 4 of the early model style -- $1825.50 a wheel!!!).

Because the 20" replicas have a larger diameter than the 17" stock, I would assume that you are going a few miles faster than your speedometer shows on the dash, but I have not tested.

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee "Assassin"

Ok thanks. I have stock 20s so I'm just curious if they'd be worse or the same on mpgs. I have the black metallic paint on my 14 Overland and I'must also struggling with black chrome or matte black for the wheel color haha.
