WOW for the price this seems like a great set go headlamps. Wonder how realizable they are. I see 6 have been purchased. Anyone on here one of those 6?

Just to get it straight. The LEDs are surrounding the headlamp, but the low/hi beams are still the standard halogens correct?

I know you can purchase LEDs for those too but this is still in a sense far from the real deal (LEDs and H. I. D.s correct)?

Thanks.

I would recommend you contact Jeep_addicted for a harness instead. I bought a harness from projectoretrofits and had to wait months to get the harness even though the website said that it was in stock. The worse thing was that when I finally got the harness it didn't even work. I took it to a place to get it install and they could not get the blinkers or the LED to work. My friend who has experience with electrical and stereo stuff couldn't get it to work either. I contacted projectoretrofits and he provided no help, didn't even answer emails. I was ready to give up on the install until I contacted Jeep_addicted, I got a harness from him that has all the functions and works the way it should. He also stands behind his product and answers questions about the install. I can't recommend Jeep_addicted enough, he really knows his stuff.

It just takes a while to receive as well. There are shops that can do the Swap but it just won't work like OEM.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

After researching and then talking the Jeep_Addicted for over a year, I couldn't be happier with my install. I bought a set of hardly used OEM headlights but like most, the harness was the problem.

Initially, my dealer told me they could install the lights, no problem. Thankfully, we have a resource on this board to help the cause. It takes a while but worth it, IMHO. Thanks again Correy for your help.

This last picture shows my LED brake and rear foglights. Also created by Jeep_Addicted.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I waited for a harness for almost a year from Jeep_Addicted. He's great at what he does and a perfectionist. The electronics systems in these cars are very temperamental so it's taken a lot of effort on his part to make this happen. There are still issues with the 2015's, so there may not be a harness available for that year just yet.

Also, my local auto lighting shop installed everything for me. $150 well spent.

Do your headlights have AFS?

Well, what can you tell us about this harness. Do you have full OEM functions?

Does the LED strip turn off when using turn signals? Does the LED dim when your headlights are on?

Any weird changes to your "DRL" settings?

How does the harness look? Does it look like OEM? Do you have pictures of the harness installed?

How much is this harness?

I don't want to take anything away from Jeep_Addict. He should design it, then outsource it and get it cranked out if there's such a large market for this.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Harness looks very similar to the OEM so much so the installer gave a lot of compliments on the workmanship.

My lights are non-AFS but have full OEM function (turn signal, brightness, etc.).

I turned off my DRL's long ago either way. Certainly don't need them with the LEDs.

I'll let Jeep_Addicted quote prices but I agree he has a great product and could make a small fortune selling in volume.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

+1 for Jeep_Addicted's quality, I was one of or maybe the first to use his harness on these lights.

rtadams1- next get rid of those stock Osram bulbs- you won't believe the difference with these:
D3S - Philips X-tremeVision 42403XVC1 5000k Bulb | 42403XVC1 xenon | Philips 5000k D3S
