Good luck with your install. Mine is basically plug and play with the special harness only paying around $150.
Will be getting it done in 2 weeks. Will

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Hey guys quick question, I understand the process to upgrade from the halogens to OEM HID/LED which is what im doing, but does it matter whether the OEM HID/LED headlights that im purchasing are "Af" or "Non-AF"? I am wondering if that has anything to do with the way the harness is configured.

You won't need the AFS. You don't have the sensors needed to make it work.

Insert annoying, asked way too many times, question...

I need a harness for the HID/LED DRL headlights I already bought.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Just checked, and Jeep_Addicted hasn't really posted to this thread since November 23, 2015.

Anyone know if he:

-is still around?
-is still making harnesses?
-released his schematic so others can try to make them on their own?

Anyone know if there is:

-a schematic of a harness that works? (with parts list)?

This has been around since 2012 or so from what I can see...someone must have come up with something by now for us to use?

I have 2 HID/LED headlights (good with all tabs, and complete), and 2 junker HID/LED headlights with smashed lexan, but all parts for spares ready to go.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

I'm in the process of building a harness to fit the bi-zenons into my 2015. All I want to know is where do I get the connector that plugs into the low beam halogen vehicle connector?

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Here's a picture of the harness if it helps with some notes he gave me.

Going to add my full write up and pictures soon.

This is all from Jeep_Addicted

Directions:
The fuse tap is simple. It goes into the Red 10 amp fuse in the Top left corner of the fuse box.

All the 12v+ connections go to the jump start terminal in the right side cowl area

Most of the - ground connections go to the - jump start terminal in the right side cowl area

One ground goes to the factory ground position in front of the right front wheel

And the lastly the two resistors need to be grounded to the chassis

I would sure appreciate a more detailed write-up sooner rather than later; the final pieces to the puzzle arrive today and Monday. I'd really like to do my install on Monday and a detailed write-up/photos could certainly help verify some aspects of the install.
