Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Probably won't have much more updates until earlier March from the sounds of it.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Hey guys got an email from ProjectRetrofits. He just about done with the harness. His email said:

"Going to be introducing some new products here within the next few weeks. This will be including the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Harness and a bracket system"

As he stated this will dim the DRL when headlights are on and shut each DRL off when the blinker is on. Keep you posted if I hear anything else.
Now just have to buy the headlight assembly and should be plug and play.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Ok I'm a tad confused, I have a 2012 Lerado with the basic headlights, would this conversion harness allow me to run 2014 style LED / HID headlights? I have not done one mod to the wife's GC but since it's paid off I figure it's time to make it look new before she wants to trade it

That's great news. Please post how to purchase the harness.

The new style 2014 headlights will fisically fit on your 2012 GC and with this harness you will be able to run them (DRL LEDs, HID etc without compatibility problems mainly caused by CAN BUS computer communication)
Your problem will be front fascia (new grill design) and front bumper cover because new headlights are smaller in its front and aren't aligned with old style fascia 😞😞
Regards

What's the ball park price range one is looking at for the wiring harness?

$150 to $300 depending on what features you will need.

Re: 2014 Jeep OEM Projected headlight to OEM HID headlight

Next week I should have my 2014 upgrade harness adapters ready.

This is great that the modders will have choices. I will start with a limited run of five so you guys can start scouting for headlights.

I'm more than down to do this to my '14 GC Limited. I tried googling ProjectRetrofit but didn't get any hits, it wasn't paying enough attention.
Anyone got their website offhand?
