On my 2011 I had to have the drl's deactivated by the dealer. I got lucky and have a pretty understanding service center, I promised them the drl's would work after the conversion. They essentially reflashed my jeep to be a US jeep, then were able to do it. Took less than an hour. Prior to the reflash, if just the drl's were on, the headlights would flicker on and off, had to drive for a while with headlights on, then they worked fine.
Keep in mind this was only applicable to my 2011, you would have to confirm if it's the same scenario on your 2014.
I may have the receipt somewhere in my garage if you need help, may be more detail on it...
