2014 low beam headlight bulb changing

Can anyone point me to a link on how to change the low beam H11 bulbs in a 2014 WK2 without led or HID?
Greg.

At the back of the headlamp is a cover. Take that off and you can reach your hand in and remove the bulb. Check the HID thread if you need photos.

That link helped.
Next question - has anyone done the H11 to H9 bulb conversion?
The H11 bulbs are 55W and the H9 bulbs are 65W. There is a little modification needed on the H9 bulbs but they go right into the H11 socket once completed.

I'm curious about this too. Hid is expensive. In the"old" days we could change bulbs and brighten things up. Led bulbs just seem cosmetic.

Re: 2014 low beam headlight bulb changing

I found this thread - H11 to H9 Conversion - which details the switch pretty well.
The author modified his wiring plug - I modified my bulbs. Same difference.
I think they are better now than stock H11's, at a much lower cost than switching to HID.

BTW - I did both my low beams and fogs with H9 bulbs.
Greg.
