No issues at all with mine. Resistors have not even come off the double sided 3M tape. It has seen humidity and plenty of rain and heat. I would say I'm safe and they should last awhile.

Installed my VLED Triton kit today, finally! Took me a couple hours but went smoothly. I'll post pics and some vids later!

Waiting for it to get dark to get a night time video..

Re: 2014 Rear Stop/Turn LED Bulbs

Looking forward to it! I'm thinking about doing this, and like the quality of the Triton kit, or at least th perceived quality of it.

Re: 2014 Rear Stop/Turn LED Bulbs

So the VLED V3 Triton kit is finally installed. Here are a few videos and not so great pics of the control box mounted to the bumper with 3M permanent mounting squares. The LED's are very bright during the day and even brighter at night.

I had to modify the kit so i could mount the control box on the inside of the bumper. I used a wire harness i had form an older HID kit i had laying around. I basically extended the length of the wires on the LED bulb and the factory harness that connects to the factory bulb connector, which had to be dropped down to the VLED control box mounted on the bumper.

Here you see the control box mounted on top of the metal bumper. Seems tucked and out of the way, hopefully from getting wet and covered in salt in the winter.

You can't capture on camera the real brightness of the LED's and the flash pattern but you get the idea. First video shows the LED bulb installed on the drivers side and factory bulb on the passengers side. Last video both LED's are installed.

Re: 2014 Rear Stop/Turn LED Bulbs

Looks great. Just wish someone would come out with a kit that was a simple installation.

sorry to ask but, did you use 2 resistor packs for the tailgate reverse lights? or just one for the whole circuit?

The reverse lights don't need resistors. The only ones that need one each are the break/turn signal lights.

Re: 2014 Rear Stop/Turn LED Bulbs

I installed the lift gate reverse LED's today. I had done the tail light reverse LED's when i installed my V3 tritons but not the lift gate. They look great, got them off ebay.

Are the resistors necessary for a 14 Laredo, which does not have lights on the side mirrors?
