Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

no need to do all the steps , just pry the fasteners away, i started from the top middle and worked my way around, they just pull right off.

Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

I ordered some vanity replacement lights also. I kept those 6k LED bulbs because my wife hates the blue when she is trying to powder her nose. I love the blue look and in the summer it keeps the bugs from flying into your car compared to if you went super white.

Thanks for sharing!!
I had swapped interior lights to LEDs in my WK and it came out great and troublefree... so I will probably do the same when my WK2 arrives.
I had gone for white with red for the footwells, will see if I change colors this time maybe. Blue looks really sleek on your pictures, but I'm not convinced it is practical all the time...

How well do the fogs dim? I know when you shut the doors it doesn't just shut off it will fade to off. Do the led's do the same? My buddy had hem in his tiburon and they never worked right at doing that, of course he did go cheap...

Thanks for the info! Has anyone found a bulb that will come close to matching the factory HID's? I'm assuming the factory bulbs are 4300k? Most LED's are 6000k and i found some that are 5000k. The 5k should be close:

5202 / H16 30W CREE LED Bulb | 5202 CREE LED Fog Light Bulb

These are 30 watts. Would that be too much for such a small enclosure. The 14' fogs are pretty small, i don't want to fry the housing.

How about a full list for the 2011-12 GC, anyone?

factory would be 5k, super white if you want to match the DRL LEDS
blue tint is 6k

I went with 6k on the fogs to match the headlamps. bulb is still on order
