Re: 2014 replacing bulbs with LED's interior , replace headlamp/fog

Long thread, maybe I missed it but is anyone running Osram Nightbreakers in your fogs? They are 55w H11 bulbs (same as stock). Color temp says they are 3600K so maybe too yellow to match the D3S at 4300K

@nyczhenry - I *believe* that you may be just fine without any additional components, but the WK2 Jeeps are a little tricky - what works on one vehicle doesn't always work on another. I apologize for the uncertainty, but I've seen situation where customers have installed the H11 LED headlight bulb without any additional components, and I've seen situations where customers have needed them (mostly 2015 though).

For what it's worth, I just installed the H11 LED headlight bulbs on my 2014 and haven't run into any issues yet.

Has anyone had any issues with interior LED flickering?

I got a 2015 with the projector fogs, how is the cut off from the projectors with the xenon depot LED H11s or the Philips H11 leds?

Both of this LED bulbs have better output than the oem bulb and the xenon depot has the best output of the two leds?

THX in advance

Of the two, I would say the Philips LEDs would have a slightly better cut off. As far as the brightness goes, the Xenondepot ones would be brighter 2500 vs 1200 lumens.

You can't go wrong with either option but if you're looking for a great priced option than the XenonDepot ones would be the way to go.

Just installed the Opt7 Fluxbeam H11's for the fogs. Work great so far, only problem is they make me want to replace the HID's for 6K now too!

We recently got them and we'll be posting some feedback soon regarding the Philips X-treme Ultinon LED Bulbs in yellow.

But they are rated to be brighter than the 6000K ones have a great yellow color to them.

See your picture highlights the way I felt also the 6000k LED's which most are end up making the headlights look yellow unless you change those headlight bulbs also. I have a set of led 4300k on the way which I hope will match OEM 4300k headlights better than the 6000k ones I have tried. The 4300k ones I found also have a usable light not just a color match like many of the cheaper ones, also fanless. Will post some pictures once I get them installed.

Have you tried them yet?

The Philips Ultinion Yellow 2,400k bulbs have 700 lumens each and the Philips Ultinion 6,000k have 1,200 lumens each.

Are this ratings right? Im amazed how the yellow bulbs have that much less output vs the white/blueish ones

I really wanted to get the yellow ones but the output is on the lower side for a bulb more expensive than the 6,000k and with less output.
