Re: 2015 Altitude HID kit conversion HELP

I bought the DDM Kit back in February and every so often I have a light flickering issue. Both sides. Sometimes they won't flick back on. Until I pull over turn the truck off, open the door, restart truck. It's very very annoying and I'm not pleased. I emailed DDM and he told me to unhook the battery for 5 mins for a reset. It did it again 30 seconds after everything was hooked back up. So he said I could buy another set of ballast and send mine back, then be refunded the cost. That was 2 weeks ago and I just have no had time to get around to it. Though I am going to email him now.

+1 Sounds like you maybe didn't order the "plus canbus" kit. How much did your kit cost? The correct kit you would need is $90 on their site.

I did. Along with Lights with Wipers... I have a 15' Altitude. Really not sure what the issue is. DDM claim bad ballast but I'm curious if it's something on my end. I've done the battery reset twice. And unplugged everything, wired it back up; again this weekend. 30 seconds backing out of the garage the driver side went out and came back on.

I have this kit and have had no issues either. It sounds like your kit is doing exactly what it was designed not to do, which is odd. I would say try a new kit. Do you have aftermarket stuff "wired in" to your vehicle or anything plugged into your trailer light harness (if you have the hook-up)?

I have the xenondepot extreme kit and reading through this thread it seems that they won't work for the 2015 kit. Tried reaching out to xenondepot a couple times but have not heard back. The issue I am having is that they don't always turn on. I would have to turn off and on the car to get them to turn on. It sounds like I need the kit from DDM instead or some relay. I'm waiting to hear back from xenondepot to see if there is anything I could get to make the kit work.
