Order this (select the 9006 connector in the drop down): CANBUS Anti-Flicker Module (pair) - CANBUS Anti-Flicker Modules - Accessories - All Products

And (get h11 bulb and whatever temp you want...I think 5k is perfect)
Premium CAN-BUS HID Conversion Kit (all sizes)

You don't need to select the harness on the hid kit.

2015 Altitude HID kit conversion HELP

http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/DDMPlusCanbus35W

Or that of you want the DDM kit. I hope this weather dries up its been a cold snowy wet mess here the last week and a half I haven't been able to install it.

Either kit should work fine they are specific for our canbus system.

One more question for you HID experts... Are their different bulbs for AC ballasts vs DC ballasts? Or are they the same bulbs regardless with just the ballasts being different? The connectors seem to be the same for both types of ballasts, just curious this doesn't relate to either kit above just a random question since I have a lot of extra bulbs laying around the garage that came from Each type of kit but I can't tell the difference (if there is any?). Would they be interchangeable?

Thank you! 9006 tho? is that because the rest of the plugs are that besides the bulb what goes into the headlight? and does The canbus plug in between the ballast and the bulb? Other cars I owned with hid I never had to install a canbus fix.

thanks for
the info. Kind of curious to see how you make out with your kit from ddm. I'm waiting for Xenondepo to refund my money from my order and that will be ordering the kit from ddm or the one Matts15 was telling me about. Appreciate all the info guys!

Which bulb temp from DD would you think will match best with Opt7 6000k fogs? 6000?

That's a good question. Seemingly 6000 should be 6000, but I am sure there is some variation between bulb types and manufacturers. For example, apparently Phillips 4300k bulb shifts to 4700k after some use. 5000k is going to be more usable light so I would be inclined to try that first.

I installed the DDM kit on the fogs. Pretty straight forward. Both the Morimoto and the DDM are 5500k.

The DDM kit is plug and play, it's the same kit for the headlights. I installed the heads from the top. Removed the air filter box and the computer thing that I don't know how is called.

On this subject, I would highly recommend disconnecting the negative battery cable under the seat before unplugging this. Takes all of 2 mins. Also, put a bit of grease on the grommets the airbox mount to.....it makes it much easier to remove next time. I keep shin-etsu grease (originally bought for my leaky jk freedom top seals) "in stock" in the garage and use it on all sorts of stuff where a petroleum based grease would be a bad choice.
